About the Fort Worth Collie Club

The Fort Worth Collie Club was founded in the 1970s in Fort Worth, Texas. We aim to assemble collie lovers from across the DFW area. The Club is a nonprofit organization brought together by the love of our collies. We boast a diverse membership comprised of owners, breeders, and enthusiasts. Some of us show and train our collies, others enjoy having them lounge on the sofa. Whether you have a collie or not, we are happy to reach out to any collie lovers in the DFW area!

The club objectives are as follows:

  1. To encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred Collies and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
  2. To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence which Collies shall be judged.
  3. To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials.
  4. To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

  • President: Calvin Crole
  • Vice-President: Debbie Jones
